I only see PC white folks outraged by it and demanding change.

And when is the last time you referred to an Indian as a Redskin? I never have, I just call them Indians.

Link to story with pissed off Injun groups?

I love how they say its like calling someone the n word.

Yet no one is afraid to use the word "redskin" but they will never say the "n word."

I'm not sure, but I doubt she had many reservations with that much money on the line.

The National Congress of American Indians seems pretty offended by it.

I found this legal brief if anyone wants to read it.

When are these dumbshit activist groups going to realize that:

A) It's not an insult to their history, it's more of a tribute to the history of that geographical area,
B) They're a fricking private company. If they are so pseud-offended by it, then don't support their product. The government should have no say so about the names of private businesses because someone is offended.

I get so sick of this whiny liberal pc bullshite, and there's only more of it coming down the pipe with these douchebags in charge of the country now. Next thing you know someone is going to sue a bar called "Big Steve's Lounge" because it's offensive to lard asses.

I'm 1\4 Native American (grandmother is 100% Huron) and I"m offended by it. I'd ask my grandmother if she is offended but sadly she passed away a month before I was born.

Are people really this clueless? "Redskin" couldn't possible be a more obvious racial slur

I guess it wasn't that obvious otherwise it would've never been allowed to become a franchise and wouldn't have taken this long before serious backlash occurred. they have been the redskins since sometime around 1933.

To be fair, in 1933, it was not considered a "racial slur". It was just "how things were" back then.

I find the term "extremely offensive," but only because I hate the redskins team. Dan Snyder is a racist POS. They need to change it to the redtails. That would be hilarious.
