Is buying a pontoon boat for family on river and orange beach gay?

Wife and sisters like pontoons much better than 23 ft. CC and it would be great for 3 kids, but I am wrestling with the ' gayness factor'.

This is what I was thinking. I love going out on party barges and cruising around. Nothing like stacking up the ice chests with beer, cranking up the radio and cruising around with family/friends all day. A under appreciated aspect is having a roof over your head so you can stay in the shade.

This is what I was thinking. I love going out on party barges and cruising around. Nothing like stacking up the ice chests with beer, cranking up the radio and cruising around with family/friends all day. A under appreciated aspect is having a roof over your head so you can stay in the shade.

I recommend you get one with a shitter. My uncle's camp neighbor at lake St. John has a 25' with a shitter in it, that toilet is worth it's weight in gold.

My wife is a Naval Architect. She once showed me all the math and physics showing a twin hull pontoon is THE most stable maritime platform in existence...and I fell asleep.

I've never heard a pontoon boat referred to as gay but just to have all your bases covered, you may want to get this one.
