The Omaha Police Department has received grant funding from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety in the amount of $17,764.00 to begin operations to enforce alcohol related laws,

well sounds like they will be quite busy from June 15th through the 26th. $17,764.00 sounds a bit light. Bet they got funded before they knew LSU was going to be there. The money should run out in the first 3 or 4 days.

They have a word for this. It is called $$

If they start giving tickets to LSU fans for that, they will soon lose more money than they will make.

This grant was approved about 10:00 p.m. last Saturday.

In 2008 I was advised by Omaha police officer who saw me drinking beer out of a bottle " sir when you get a chance I need you to throw away your beer " I replied sure and he replied geaux tigers"

He just wanted to say "geaux tigers" apparently.

No problem! Unlike the Masses of weak willed Asses, I don't NEED alcohol as a prerequisite to having a good time at an LSU athletic event.

Let's be honest...has drinking laws in Louisiana ever stopped anyone from drinking on the streets?

I think you intended to say "in the first 3 or 4 innings." This is LSU after all.
