Go to Circle K or 7-11 and get 24 -- 32oz styrofoam cups and lids; pour beer in cups, throw away bottle (discreetly) and Party On.

You can always figure out how to skin the cat, just don't be too blatant and flaunt it in their face.

Well, the beer would very quickly be watered down that way...

Let's be honest...has drinking laws in Louisiana ever stopped anyone from drinking on the streets?

Louisiana drinking laws are EASILY the most relaxed in the country. There aren't as many and they don't enforce the ones we have. Hell, the only reason we agreed to move the drinking age to 21 is because the US Gov threatened to withhold money for new roads/hwys.

Nebraska ain't Louisiana.

Judging by last year when I went tailgating for Friday (the first day), they did have a couple undercover guys walking around looking to get people on MIPs.

This was in a private lot right in front of the stadium, I guess running along the first base side a little bit.

I don't think they were really going after open containers much at all.

ETA: They also said the same exact thing about a grant last year.

This was just an opportunity for the police to come up with an excuse to make overtime. If you don't get too out of hand u should be fine.

This must be a TD Ameritrade thing. In 2007 we were doing keg stands 100 yards from the stadium.

Hey guys. Omahan here just letting you know don't be worried about this. It seems like every year they state they are going to crack down but it always is the same.

Tailgating at TD has continued to be just as crazy as it was at the Blatt but just a little bit different of an atmosphere. Omaha is extremely excited to have LSU back, it just doesn't feel the same without you guys!

I am trying to figure out how to pronounce this word, but am at a complete loss.

I seriously doubt that any of the Omaha cops will mess with the LSU people much. An LSU appearance at the CWS is a huge boost to that economy.
