She just wants to prove a point with a celebrity coming through her court. Hell, Lindsay Lohan has violated her probation 200 times and nothing has ever happened to her.

And what has miss Lindsay done with her life? The judge might do her a favor by putting her arse in the pen for a month. Ochocinco needs similar correction, might turn him around somewhat.

You equate his actions with actually slapping a judge in the face??

What are you on? The judge was on a power trip and overreacted IMO.

A power trip? She gave him no jail time initially ruling in HIS favor, and he responds by disrupting her courtroom. It wasn't the first time he had disrupted the courtroom. I agree with the judge, he apparently couldn't make things simple and respect the courtroom atmosphere.

If I gave you $20 just because I want to be a nice guy and then you talk shite about me afterwards I'm going to be pretty pissed.

Its a simple case of giving respect and then Ocho responding with disrespect like a child. Put the child behind bars because apparently giving him the benefit of the doubt does no good.

You obviously missed the part where the judge was helping him out to begin with.

Funniest part of the thread is the ones that made their main point about him slapping "His female lawyer!!!" On the arse in a domestic violence case and it turns out it was a dude

Stupid analogy.

I'm hard pressed to believe that in Johnson's mind he viewed his actions as disrespectful to the judge. He certainly wasnt actively "talking shite" about the judge.

You want to say his behavior was inappropriate for court regardless of his mindset, fine. However you're not going to convince me her reaction was proportionate to his.

This definitely added to his problems.

After viewing the gif, I don't see the issue. However, if people busted into laughter after he did it, I can understand the judge's position. 30 days still seems excessive though.
