It doesn't make him a thug, but it absolutely makes him stupid.
He's a male in a female judge's courtroom after he allegedly headbutted his wife. Slapping your female attorney on the arse, in court, is beyond stupid.

He didn't disrespect the court. He joked with his lawyer. Ever went to fight a traffic ticket? You wait your turn and see other shite going on. Laughing and jokes happen daily. Unless she sentenced every person who was in her court that day who did anything but look straight ahead and praised her holiness, she singled him out because he's famous and she mew it would get her headlines.
