I like Patrick. Oh and Nola is the man. Hats off to Laird Jones and Moore. CPM had them work this guy and it paid off. OUR got scared and left Gray too long

Patrick is one of my favorites. A real professional. After having to listen to some of those other bloviating butt-munchers...

is that the guy with Kyle Peterson? I've always just called him retarded bulldog cause he kind of looks like one, but I like him too.

I thought both did a good job. I am not huge into baseball but Peterson kept his analysis easy to understand and made some really good points. Also I liked the fact the game wasn't centered around them, they were why they should be commentators.
To both teams on excellent game that lived up to every thing. Both pitchers deserved to win but the guy with greater control won out.
Was not able to make it to the game but the crowd was awesome.
I thought the home ump did a great job besides one check swing call.

The game went so quick, he didn't get totally drunk.

But I don't mind a drunk PBP

"LSU wins or loses on this play, it would appear."

I get that it was a pitching duel and the focus had to be on the pitchers. It just seemed like Gray got more props than Nola. I also get that Gray was the third pick in the draft. All I know is Gray gave up 2 ER and Nola pitched a complete game 2 hit shutout. They did start giving Nola more props in the late innings.

I mean it is easy to drool over Gray because he is a more dominant pitcher, but Nola was better and they gave him his credit, it was awesome to watch. If I was a coach, dad, or player that wanted to learn something this was a great game to watch, and learn.

I thought the commentators did an excellent job.

Only problem I had with him tonight was the number times he said Gray could throw 102. Other than that both guys were great.

To be fair, I notice the announcers slightly cater to the visiting team because they may feel that more of their fans will be watching on tv. That's my opinion.

Gray was all that OU had to sell, so it's natural that the announcers, as decided on in their pre game production meeting, would be the focus when it came to OU's side of the story.Who else could they promote from OU? And he's a stud, so I have no problem with him getting well deserved pub. But Peterson, when asked if he'd take Nola, did not hesitate to say, paraphrasing, "hell yes". And then he went on to give numerous reasons why.
