Did he accumulate too many yellows? I missed this
No, he accumulated two over the course of several matches. However, since soccer governing bodies are comprised of the most moronic, corrupt individuals on the planet he will have to miss a crucial match.
Can you imagine Lebron James missing game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals because he got a Technical in game 2 of the Eastern Conference semis and then another in the game 6 of the Finals?
No? I can't either and that's because America is not completely retarded.
In all seriousness yellow card accumulation has to be the worst rule in all of sports.

Terry may make it back for Wednesday after all. Gonna need the CLL

Job done today boys, bigger fish on Wednesday, KTBFFH!
Rodgers, you're alright, but your presser tears were sweet. Awfully bold of you to sit on your high horse about doing things in a sporting way when you put Suarez on your team sheet every week.

Jose is such an a-hole, but he is a magnificent coach. Whatever it takes to win.

Eden Hazard was named PFA young player of the year.
Posted on 4/27/14 at 6:59 pm to Bho
Deservedly so. Sterling was probably close given his second half performance and Ramsey would have been the winner if not for injury. Some damn fine young players in the league.

I was flying and missed this shite, before I left I check the stats and the possession was like 74% to 26%.
Last week stings even more now.

Yea, definitely bittersweet. It was awesome but should have been soo much better.

José is the best.
That is exactly why I can't take Liverpool fans who were complaining about José and Chelsea seriously.

Jose definitely made Brendan cry.

So wait, your boy calls Big Sam's strategy Victorian football and when Rogers points out how much of an utter hypocrite Jose was about that you can't take it seriously?
BR was a baby. Chelsea's tactics were spot on. Their Mexican time wasting wasn't but that's neither here nor there. When it comes down to it, they did what they needed to to win, and that's why Jose is (tactically) a genius.
However, the irony of your post is laughable.

I know you weren't responding to me but I was critical of Jose after that West Ham game for his comments. He of all people should understand the result is the result.
Rodgers can say whatever he wants, and the time wasting today was definitely excessive, but like I said it takes some balls to talk about winning in a sporting manner when Suarez is the first name on the team sheet.

Yeah and that's why I'm being critical of BR. Don't act like defending isn't part of the game. He knows that's his foil and he's being a child about it. He'll learn from this hopefully.

The time wasting today was definitely Suarez-esque. The goal kick gag pulled in the first two minutes was ridiculous.

It was def obvious the plan was to really be blatant about it early to take the crowd out a bit and make sure Pool didn't get off to one of their blazing starts. It has to be said it worked like a charm.
If I'm Pool my frustration is with the referee for not handing a card for it until second half stoppage time.

I guess. I don't like to blame the ref. The real reason we lost is because Brendan still hasn't figured out how to successfully break down a very good defensively organized team. A good bit of that is due to our youth and squad depth, but still frustrating.

You won't need to tell Chelsea fans how frustrating it is not to be able to break down a side set up to defend.
Watching the likes of Willian, Schurrle, Salah, Ramires, Oscar (the last 6 months), and pick any of our strikers try to do anything creative to break down a defensive side is mind numbingly frustrating.
Hopefully that will change this summer.

Seems it may have much to do with squad depth in that Sterling/Sturridge have been excellent when I've seen Liverpool in using their pace and smart runs in very open spaces (usually created by pressing turnovers) but not as comfortable in intricate build up passing in crowded areas.
An attacking option who's more comfortable in those tight spaces along with #7 would probably --from an outside perspective -- be a piece (or two) Liverpool wants to add this summer.

Let's be honest here...no one breaks down the Chelsea defense well, especially once they pack it in.
Although the back four was a "B" version of the typical Chelsea side, they played very organized football. The presence of Matic and Mikel has been eye opening for me as I continue to learn the tactics of the game. To be able to play two guys with their size (one as a true DM in Mikel and then Matic who can roam and play a CM role and drop to DM when needed), is just unfair. With as strong as the back four are, those two just make getting anything up the middle of the pitch near impossible. But, Cahill, Terry and Ivan are like "fish in water" (as Jose said today) when the ball starts being crossed from wide.
If Chelsea can get a striker in form next season, then this team can be scary good.

Matic is a fricking mountain. What a wonderful player.

Best January signing, by far. Dude is a stud.
