Olbermann joins TBS to host MLB Studio Show

Olbermann will serve as a studio host for Major League Baseball coverage on TBS during the 2013 postseason, Turner Sports announced Wednesday. He replaces Matt Winer, who hosted studio coverage the past three seasons.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Olbermann’s deal with Turner has an option for the 2014 postseason.
Turner Sports’ acquisition of Olbermann is quite the surprise. While it was clear that Olbermann would likely have to return to sports after several stints in cable news, previous reporting by The Big Lead indicated he might land at ESPN.

I don't care about his politics but he was good at ESPN all those years ago.
He did seem different though when he had that brief stint on Sunday Night Football for NBC. Maybe not as funny?

Dude seems like one of the biggest real life assholes in all of media, but he's quite good at sports.

Well that's one less show I have to worry about watching. I wouldnt watch him give play by play to a porn movie.

Not that I would watch it anyway. But now I'll change the channel if its on when I walk in the room.
