For the GM guys, IRL pics of the 2014 Z71

While at a shop today looking for accessories, another guy told me these were just trickling in to the dealerships around here so I went to check them out just to see what the fuss was about.
This white GMC literally came in last night and was put on the lot this morning and some guy saw it from the interstate and went and bought it on the spot. I liked the mocha/tan interior.
I was able to test drive this black Chevy. Overall, a good ride and the 5.3 Ecotec is pretty responsive. The interior has a lot of the same features as the Ford with the functionality of the center screen and dash computer. Overall, it's put together well and seems to be a solid package. Just don't think it really adds much to the game over Ford, but it gives GM owners a good option and gives me a little more to think about though I think I'll still go with Ford KR.

Outside looks OK.......I wasn't a fan of the interior when I saw pics a few months back.

Fender accents make the wheels and tires look tiny on both

Front end on the chevy is horrible. I still say the F150's and Rams are the best looking trucks on the road.

. These new models are really starting to grow on me in an expensive way.
I spent some extended time in a F150 this weekend. I honestly don't get how people think they are leaps and bounds better than GM. The seats are never as comfortable, silver colored plastic is still plastic, ergonomics are mostly poor, and the doors sound cheap when they close. I don't understand the love affair.

You're insane..........I love the interior in my ford.
I also liked then interior in my 06 Chevy........but I don't like it in the newer ones. It's like everything is pushed away from you. I like it to come to me.

Sticker on the black Z71 was a little over $46K. Invoice will obviously be a little less, but won't be many rebates since they're brand new and hard to get right now.

Square fender wells surrounding a round wheel. It looks weird to me. Aside from that, it is a good looking truck.
