You have the internet. Why not just buy them off Amazon? Here, take your pick. I'm sure they will be cheaper than Bass Pro. I prefer Mountain House freeze dried, not sure how long they keep but great for hiking

From reading the reviews on the "Military" ones, probably a good choice. Several of the reviews indicated they got a knockoff instead of the military one.

ALSO, some of the ones who did receive Military MRE's said they must have been recylced out of the military cause bar codes were non-existent.

Because I only want one, I want it now, and I don't want to bring along the gear to boil water (even though MHs are delicious).

I feel the need to clarify. I know I can get them on the internet a lot cheaper. You're talking to the king of online bargain shopping. I just want ONE MRE now. I know alternatives exist, I just want the all-in-one package with the heat packs.

I'm going 50 miles to tunica and back on a bicycle. One will suffice.

Haha was waiting for that. It's going to take about 5 hours to travel in the direct sun. Wouldn't want to trust a sandwich that long. Ice pack + ice is too bulky

Not in BTR but close enough:

Gonzales Military Surplus
902 N Burnside Ave, Gonzales, LA

(225) 647-2336

Don't think they have individual MRE's - they usually carry them by the case.

It's worth a phone call.

I don't get the love for MREs.
You can't buy any that have current dates and they don't keep for long above 80 degrees or so.

There are better options.

I kept some for years in boat, pulled them out one day and they tasted just as shitty as I remembered.
