Home team vs. SHSU/visitors vs. ULL: is that correct?

I don't know but if we only play 3 games and two of them are as visitors, that's horse shite. We earned the right to play in our stadium, we should always be the home team.

I believe that is correct....2 of ULL's 3 games have been as the visitor, 2 of SHSU's 3 have been as the home team.

From what I was just told, LSU is home team tonight regardless. Don't know how that decision is/was made, but that's what I was told from someone who would know.

I hear what you're saying, but if they don't like it, they could have done two things:
1.) Don't lose that many games to chumps during the year, and earn a #1 seed.
2.) Don't lose your first game in the regional.
As for LSU, they should be home every game if they are hosting and are in the winners bracket.

The last team to serve as a visitor is home team. However, since both teams were visitors in their last game, the higher seed is given home team status.

I'm of the opinion the higher seed should always be home team in the regionals.

Records don't matter - it's done according to who has been the home team the least so far in the regional - don't know how that shakes out with tonight's game, but it's the rule.

Both were home once but ULL has been visitor twice in a row. Wonder if being visitor more makes a difference
