I know another schedule bitch thread by an LSU fan, but this has logic behind it.

My conspiracy theory on the makeup of the 2013 SEC Schedule is the following:

• SEC knows that the only threat to the 8th SEC BCSNC is not being selected for the game. It could have happened this past year if OSU had not been on probation. It would have been OSU VS. ND.

• BAMA & A&M have a very easy SEC schedule and path to the BCSNC. Also, their game was switch to the beginning of the season to ensure BAMA is not worn out from the LSU game. Another schedule advantage for BAMA. But I also think it benefits A&M some.

• An easy schedule for BAMA won’t hurt them this year for the BCSNC selection; however 1 loss certainly could jeopardize their BCSNC aspirations. So an easy schedule is the formula for this year. Playing an easy schedule like this next year could have SOS consequences when compared to other teams.

So next year things are going to change and if my theory is correct, you will see it when the 2014 SEC schedule is released in a few weeks. I expect BAMA to have a more difficult schedule since it will be the criteria used to select the 4 best teams. I expect them to have Georgia and/or USCe but not Florida and I expect LSU to have a much easier schedule. And A&M thought they had it bad with the Texas Shorthorns ruling their former conference.

A&Ms schedule is a joke. They will be favored in every game plus 8 home games.

I do not think A&M will be favored in Baton Rouge or at home against Bama

I've thought about this myself, it's to ensure we have one make it. Why else would we have to play UGA again when the schedule switched, shouldn't it have been Bama's turn again? Thing is if we go to a nine game schedule and with the four the eam playoff, you may see only one OOC game worth mentioning.

Think about it, we'll play a top OOC opponent, A&M, Bama, UF, SEC Championship, a top 4 ranked team and then the Championship to win it all.

We'll have at LEAST 6 ranked teams on our road to gold every single year wkthout adding in season big OOC matchups. The SEC will be mangled before it ever gets to the championship game, but the talented teams with depth will be the ones to make it all the way

Bama and A&M won't be as good as people think this year.

Bama's and A&M's easy schedule is gonna backfire on them when they play us. We will be used to tough, physical games where you have to stay focused and play with a want for 60 minutes. We're gonna beat the hell out of both of them and I can't freakin' wait.

I'm not sure it could get much easier than it is now so you're right, by default

We have Georgia so that Bama doesn't have to play them. Bama will have them next year when Murray is gone and they need a strong SOS. Our SOS will be weaker next year so that it will be difficult to select us over Bama with equal records.

Depends on the record. They are favored now. We sre on a down turn according to a lot of people. Even some of our own fans.

Already saying 9-3 will be a good season for us.
