Not smart on Corbin's part.

I would yank Cotton after 1 or 2 more innings and live or die with Berry after that. We may not win the game, but this game pales in comparison to even the first game of the regional next week.

I'm a little surprised myself. Like I said, they want this game more than us. Good for them.

I would be shocked if Cotton pitched beyond the 10th, barring something like a 6 pitch inning.

It is what it is.

Would love to win but not at the cost of fricking over cotton.

Cotton is fresh and can easily throw 3+ innings... Especially throwing 10 pitches an inning. I see him pitching until the game ends.

Is this the "built-in excuse thread"?

Although I do agree. I think we need to pull cotton now.

Good thing he's got the ump out there with him to help him out.

Let Cotton pitch through Vandy's lineup once, then go get him.

The dude is on a roll and hasn't thrown that many pitches. I disagree also.

If Cotton protects this one run lead, he deserves tourney MVP.

Vandy doesn't get many chances to win a SEC reg. season title or tourney, at any sport. damn right i'd leave they guy in until proven otherwise.

70+ pitches for a closer isn't a lot?
