I know that there have been rumors that he will be a change of pace back but if he just stays at running back that would only leave Hardeman and Brown as corners in this class(assuming Adoree Jackson is wishful thinking at this point). If a couple corners from last years and this years recruiting class dont pan out then it seems like we could be thin at ELITE corners and we r not used to this as a fanbase. Do you see Paris as corner or safety? And is Hootie a safety lock at this point? Please refrain from criticizing my question as i know a lot of you will be itching to fire me up

No one is really sure what position he will play, either WR or CB. However we took 2 CBs in 2013 White & Robinson also Rickey Jefferson may also play DB

I heard Robinson may have to take summer school and enroll late though. Idk if that will hurt him a lot but it could put him behind the other db's.

Also, sorry i was thinking i was on the recruiting board. Admins: can move to rb if necessary.

Yeah, can he play RF? If he can, we will no doubt win a championship this year.

I think LSU has a lot of young corners on the roster and will be fine. I also think Ed Paris will play corner unless LSU strikes out on good safeties in the next 2 recruiting classes. Having said that, I believe Brazil should play RB/Slot WR no matter what. It is high time LSU had some explosion on offense. I hate this theory of putting all the athletes at corner and having a BigTen offense with big backs. I think you could let JB return kicks and punts, and also get 5-10 touches on offense and be a huge difference maker right away. Add 10-15 pounds over the next couple years and you will have a 5'10 195lb 4.3 "Football Player" that gets 15-20 touches total(including kicks/punts/carries/catches) who will scare teams to death Sunday-Saturday.

Thanks for the educated response. JB is extremely well built and can take hits running the ball no problem. If the kid has a better 60 meter than Trindon Holliday and has bulk, i expect him to do more than most think. The main thing is if Brazil just has that natural running ability and vision, etc. If he does, paired with Leonard Fournette; and Nick Brosette and Guice(of course they would he freshman) that would be a LETHAL backfield. You could run the damn wing T. Moral of the story: football season hurry the frick up.

Yeah... I can't wait for the season. I just miss the days of watching Kevin Faulk go 90 in a flash. Watching Eddie Kennison go 90. LSU hasn't had a player with game-changing ability in 10 years or so. Trindon does not count because he wasn't used on offense enough to matter. Although O. Beckham provides some. This kid would be an iteration of Faulk if they allow him to play offense.

Paris, hardeman, and tony brown are projected corners with hootie and voorhies as safeties. Brazil has to touch the ball on offense and special teams IMHO

Short post/question, but I totally understand you "Reda". Only reason there is no mention, he has yet to commit. We all believe he will(hopefully), but he hasn't. So, just talking about those who are in theory, here. But Brown makes this whole scenario so beautiful!
