A couple of yall told me that the CB might not make it in the grandkids' fishin pond since I already had an established population of regular bluegill and bass. I still feed all the fish regularly and I guess I'll find out and hope for the best. I put 100 of em in there. It only cost 42 bucks for a hundred, so I've not lost much if the bass eat all of em. If just enough of em survive to repopulate, I'll be happy. Between the bass and the great blue herons I might be fightin an uphill battle. Would love to see em get to be big enough to skilletize and for the kids to catch, though.

Did this same thing one time in an established pond. By the 2nd bag the bass had the water boiling where we were dumping them in, and were lining up for more. For the next few months caught the fattest bass out of that pond I can ever remember.
