so i have a Wii now, and am wondering if the n64 and classic games i have downloaded on my wii can be transfered to a wii u. or do i need to purchase them again?
also does anyone have one? is it any good?
also can you play gamecube games on it? like stick in the disk and play?

Yes, you can transfer all of your Wiiware and VC games to a Wii U. You'll access them via "Wii mode" on the Wii U.
Edit: no, no Gamecube support. GC games may eventually become available on the Wii U's virtual console, but it isn't something that is confirmed

Yes, you can, it is a tedious process but it can be done.

I believe it is still available through the Virtual Console on the Wii, but it do not believe it is available to be placed on your Wii U home screen. Not yet.
