The first and most important question is how can we get the most out of Nola? If he pitched Wednesday he could start Sunday in the championship game. However since our first game is against the Auburn/Bama winner we could potentially throw eades or glenn. This means Nola could pitch Thursday against a probable Stanek and arkansas or god forbid an elimination game. But then would we be able to use him again in the tournament? he did just have a week off. What if he pitches and we go ahead big? pull him and hope our bullpen doesn't get used up the rest of the game? This is why I love playoff baseball or really baseball in general. Strategy and risk.

Pitchers ranked in order of confidence:
Nola
Cotton
Glenn
Eades
Bourgeois
Bonvillain
Rumbelow
McCune
Berry
Fury
Lamarche

(wouldn't know where to put Reynolds, Newman, Devall)

Who would our fourth starter be? McCune? Bonvillain?

Who does the rant want pitching and when?

LaMarche has been pitching well of late. He seems to be coming around at the right time. I believe CPM will use him in key situations going forward.

each starter will go one game - not going to pitch nola on sunday! would not mean anything!

Throw a guy who just had his worst start of the season on short rest?

If we were playing Vandy, could it not potentially put us as the #1 national seed?

No one should start twice in the SEC tourney for us, it doesn't mean much. I just want to get one win, everything else is gravy. Pitch nola game 1, get a win, then throw out glenn game 2, and Newman and McCune if we have other games to start

3-game series are 3-game series.

You're basically asking who should start the 1st game of the regional, and that will depend on who the 4-seed is.

I love when Rantards start making baseball threads. They don't even know who the hell is injured or playing half the time.

Until he gets his pitching arm out of the sling he's wearing I'd put him last.....

I think Glenn will start that regardless. Chances are we are getting the SWAC champ, which means that any pitcher on our staff could win that.

Sorry, that makes about as much sense as starting Reynolds while he is wearing a sling!

Hoover doesn't matter We'll stay a too 8 seed.

No one will pitch more than one game, would be happy with one win...after that I couldn't care less if we played backups like the 3rd game against Ole Piss...
