We brought the kids to the NASA center in Webster today.
Someone recommended to try Rudy's for some good Texas style barbecue.
Oh man I wish we had something like that in Baton Rouge.
Solid all the way around. We sampled the brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork, and smoked turkey.

Absolutely. Had the moist brisket 3 times in College Station last weekend. So damn good.

I lived in San Antonio for 14 months in 06 and 07 working on a big retail development . We had a Rudy's a few miles away and would order several hundred dollars worth every week. We would get a dozen bottles of their Q sauce with every order. I gave Rudy's Q sauce as Christmas gifts in December of 06 to my folks back home in the Mecca.

I've done that too. When the one on 290 in Houston opened they got a bunch of my money. Breakfast tacos are the shite.

I ate at one in New Braunfels, TX. I didn't care for the pulled pork, but the brisket was solid.

I thought their sides could be tweaked a bit.
The potato salad was definitely different. It was ok for me but my family didn't care for it.
The baked potato was cooked perfectly though.

Was not much left by the time I thought to take a pic, sorry.
I was most surprised/impressed by the smoked turkey which was awesome.
We told the guy behind the counter it was our first time and he started serving us samples of everything. I thought that was a very cool move.

Chowed down on some Dinosaurs in Syracuse, NY the other day. Pretty good BBQ for upstate New York if you ask me.

Rudy's breakfast tacos are damn good. After moving to Texas, I just don't get BBQ in Baton Rouge anymore.

Used to travel to San Antonio a couple of times a year. Would always eat at Rudy's a couple of times. Damn good Q and sides for a chain. Damn, I miss it.
