The wife and I decided to grill for Mother's Day. The nice gentleman at WF really upsold me on the steak, but I couldn't have been more pleased. Ended up with a 1.62lb steak. The wife had an 8oz filet. At $30 it was a little pricey for one steak, but since we eat red meat so rarely it was well worth it.

Olive Oil, Salt, & Black Pepper.

They are our alternative, "everyday" plates. The wife likes them, they hold my food, so I don't really care that much.

I think he said prime beef. He went and pulled a hunk out of the "Dry Aged" window, and cut it for me. He asked if I wanted it cut 2". I'm glad I opted for 1.5". I may have exploded.

Boy, those sure are some pretty steaks. Did the butcher tell you how long they had been aged?

I think the outside of the window says 14-21 days. I didn't ask.

Yeah, downfall of a gas grill I guess. I had a lot of flare up. I was checking it every 1.5-2 mins, so that I wasn't getting over-charred.
