Should have been the best RB in Saints history, but cocaine and the 1980 season destroyed his Saints Career.

An unbelievable athlete, but couldn't beat the blow.

Demanded a trade because New Orleans was a "racist place to live". Kinda funny since New Orleans had a black mayor at the time.

I've seen every RB that ever played for the Saints and I never saw a Saints RB who was more a more naturally talented runner than Chuck Muncie. Big, fast, fluid, instinctive...he had it all.

An article I read earlier stated that he was 6'3" - unheard for a running back today.

He was smooth and powerful.

The Saints traded Chuck to the Chargers for a 2nd round pick in the 1981 draft. They used that 2nd round pick on some guy named Rickey Jackson out of the University of Pittsburg. Whatever happened to that Jackson guy?

No doubt, one of the best pure-bread running backs ever to play the game. I can say the same for Cecil Collins. Both didn't have their head screwed on right though.
