I wonder if there is a correlation in free time decreasing as you get older.

Yep

Combination of kids and more responsibility at work. I can't afford to frick off for a whole day to recover from a night binge of gaming during the week.

And weekend time is spent outside

It's been well over a year, almost two, since I even hooked my Xbox up.

Just saw it as a time waster. (though this isn't better)

More time for projects and business. though I still dabble in PC games (civ and minecraft) but rarely, my Civ game started in Feb and I only do a few turns a week.

Having said that, I will probably get a PS4.

Spend less time taking advantage of vulnerable divorcees.

Yes, it's a part of growing up and while I don't like it I just deal with it. I have a massive backlog because of it but so be it.

Ill prolly pick it back up when next gen starts. The newness factor will outway anything else in the beginning.

Because of a decline in free time, sure. It's still a hobby of mine and when I can squeeze it in I like to.

Opposite for me. I actually play more now than when I was a teenager. The games are better on average and I have more money to spend on them.

No, I enjoy having a cup of coffee and gaming while the wife and kid are in bed. It takes my mind off of things.
