Real GM floated this trade.

No fricking way it goes down, IMHO, as Jordan is a three-quarter player because he's godawful from the line.

No. Jordan is a functional retard that I want nowhere near a young team. The only thing he has on Lopez is athleticism.

I don't know how to feel about this. I like the athleticism of Jordan over Lopez. It makes you think he has more potential at least.

They are the same age with the same years of experience.

Looking at career percentages, Lopez has a 52% FG percentage while Jordan has a 64% FG percentage.

For his career, Lopez has 3.9 rebounds, 1.0 block and 7.2 points a game while Jordan has 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 6.7 points per game.

That being said, I don't see how they could make this trade work. It would have to be Gordon and Vasquez or Gordon and Jason Smith with Grant Hill coming over with Jordan and Bledsoe.

After thinking about it, I'd have to do the trade if we could. That's not a bad deal for a guy who hardly ever plays.

If they anticipate Davis getting a little bigger, you could close games- last 4 minutes or so with Anderson/Davis. If teams want to hack Jordan early, ill take being in the bonus.

The big issue is what you raised in the Burke/Bledsoe thread- taking on Jordan and then giving Bledsoe a big extension is reckless.

You're probably right, I'm kind of arguing to argue here.

Its just whether dumping Gordon to get Bledsoe is worth the trade off between Jordan/Lopez.

It doesn't work as a trade, anyway.

I think this is a major insult to Chandler. Chandler took time to develop, but was never considered a stupid player.

For those complaining about Jordan's rebounding, his is better than Lopez Per 36. Offense isn't as good though.

I was looking at their careers, I didn't even look at each season average.

Considering that this was the first time Lopez was really given consistent minutes, I think it is probably more indicative of his career. Also, they've both had time to improve their games, so current trajectory would seem important.

I have to disagree. Your trade is actually worse than the one in the OP, and even that trade is bad for us.

Irrelevant when looking at the Per 36 stat. His Block stat this year for Per 36 is fairly consistent with his entire career, whether he was getting minutes or not.

Deandre's has been better Per 36 throughout his career. I wouldn't say because he had 2.0 per 36 this year and 3 of the previous 4 years he was much higher says anything about his "trajectory".

Scoring and FT shooting are a completely different argument.

I totally disagree. More minutes means you get more consistent opportunities and allows you to feel the game out better. Just like really high minutes will end up reducing efficiencies due to fatigue. This is why PER and per 36 must be used within context. 15 minutes against backups is not as challenging per minute as 42 minutes against starters.
