Talk to me about Firehouse Subs (BR location)

The almighty Internet says they were shooting for a march opening. Obviously that didn't happen. Anyone know when the new target date is? Also, I've heard great things about their subs. Does it live up to the hype? Is it that much better than Subway, Quiznos, jimmy Johns, which Wich?

Shopping center on the corner of college and corporate. Right by that hooters. The sign is up but the inside still looked like it was under construction last time I passed

I believe they will be open either today or tomorrow as my friend owns the one on the Northshore and he will be there to help them out.

I've had Firehouse once. My sandwich was shockingly small. I felt ripped off. No reason to go back with all the other options available (especially a homemade sandwich).
I like the Jimmy John's "Gargantuan". All sandwiches should be so loaded!

I don't think firehouse is any better than your which wich, potbelly, jj's. only thing good about firehouse is that they have a huge selection of hot sauces that you can use.
