PHOENIX - The Scottsdale Police Department confirmed Tuesday that they are investigating an allegation of sexual assault against Phoenix Suns player Michael Beasley.

The incident reportedly took place on January 13.

“At this point we can only say the investigation is ongoing,” said David Pubins, Scottsdale police spokesman. “We are interviewing those involved and processing any physical evidence we may have to try and determine if criminal charges are appropriate.”

Beasley earned a spot at forward with the Suns in 2012. He played in 75 games and averaged 10.1 points per game.

Story.

Coming out of college I thought this guy would be a good pro. He's been an incredible frick-up.

Phoenix is probably hoping he gets convicted so they can invalidate his contract under the moral turpitude clause.

To say he's been a disappointment there would be an understatement.

Yeah, Beasley has earned the benefit of the doubt.

It's not that I believe Beasley is a great person, I just know there are a lot of gold-digging whores out there.

He actually put up better numbers than Durant in college.

Man did he waste his talent. Still a young guy...but likely is a lost cause..
