I have 40 ac in perry county ms. Saw two deer last season and shot both, a doe and a little 8 pt. I own that piece and hunt it alone unless i bring somone. It would be nice to hunt a place where there are more deer.
My uncle and two cousins hunt a club that has beacoup deer and cost $650/yr. They lost two members and want me to join. 1000 acres/9 members and they each saw at least 30 deer and killed 5-6 each. Good deal? This is in Southeast AR 5 hours away vs my place in MS that is 2 hrs away. How many of y'all drive that far to hunt?
Two deer a year is plenty meat, I'd just like to see more and have a shot at a nice one sometimes.
Wwtodbd?

Where in SE Ark?

ETA-100 acres for 9 members? $650 seems high and not enough land for 9 hunters.

100 acres and 9 members. Is that a typo?

Yeah. Hopefully a typo. Should be more like 1000 acres for nine members.

I would join a club that allowed me enough room to sneeze without getting snot on the guy in the next stand.

Please don't stray out of your 11.111 acres during the hunt.

Oops. 1000 acres for 9 members, 2 left so I would be the 8th. They need 1-2 more. My uncl and cousins also have an additional 100nearby. It includes lodging in either a trailer or a shared bunkhouse. Drew county, AR.

Holy crap my spelling sucks when I'm at jazz fest, beta cup means " beaucoup deer" in spellcheck land. 1000 acres, 9 hunters, $650/yr, 5 hours away from Nola in Drew County, Ar.
I could either lease out my place in Se MS or just use it for the late season after Ar shuts down.
