Out of all the LSU Tiger football players who have played in the NFL, who do you guys think has had the most success in the pros?
I would say it's definitely a three-way tie between Y.A. Tittle, Steve Van Buren, and Jim Taylor, who are all in the NFL Hall of Fame. It's hard to choose the best out of those three guys. What do y'all think?

Matt Flynn
He is getting paid!
like a starting QB, but with none of the wear and tear. When he retires he will be able to walk with no problem.

Alan Faneca and Kevin Mawae
Faneca was the best OL in the game for years and is a 10+ year probowler I believe. Both should be HofF'ers

agree with previous posts, but maybe just a small bit below them is Eric Martin, he has comparable numbers to Lynn Swan and others in HOF, he just never was on a very good team...

Lol Cap Cruch, I don't believe our beloved Mr. Jefferson even made it to an NFL practice squad lol.

Kevin Faulk, riiiiiiiings...
As far as money goes, that isn't an argument based on opinion, someone can base that on fact. I'd have to think one of the o-lineman, either Faneca or Mawae with their long and elite careers have probably made the most over their time in the NFL.
I also think Faneca has the best claim of any o-lineman all time for Superbowl MVP. He sprung Willie Parker several times and never gave up a hurry or a sack in his first Superbowl if my memory serves me correctly.

Moonie Winston?
Yes, I know. Most of you have never heard of him.

if you talk pre Super Bowl era, Y.A. and Steve Van Buren were the men....
Y.A. with the Giants was a major part of what brought the NFL to the forefront in the late 50's early 60's....

Booger McFarland was a beast with the Bucs, him and Sapp had that defensive line locked down.

Faulk and Faneca were both consistently good for 10+ years.

When it comes to championship success, Kevin Faulk definitely leads the pack. He had a long tenure with New England, he was always a valuable returner and third-down back, plus if he had to step into a starting role, he could produce.

This is like Bama fans who say Robert Horry was better than Shaq because he got more rings.

Not saying he's the best Tiger of all-time in the NFL Bham, he has the most Super Bowl rings compared to any other former Tiger, so in that category, he's at the top.
