Ryan Griffin 6'4 (220) QB Tulane
Eric Stephens 5'8 (200) RB Texas Tech
Shawne Alston 5-11 (235) RB West Virginia
Emory Blake 6'0 (190) WR Auburn
Lou Alexander 6'3 (305) OL Syracuse
Blaize Foltz 6'4 (310) OG TCU
Elliott Mealer 6'4 (320) OL Michigan
Tim Lelito 6'3 (310) OG Grand Valley State
Josh Hill 6'5 (245) TE Idaho State
Keavon Milton 6'4 (280) TE UL-Monroe
Glenn Foster 6'4 (285) DE Illinois
Eric Martin 6'1 (235) OLB Nebraska
Ray Shipman 6'3 (240) OLB UCF
Kevin Reddick 6'1 (240) ILB North Carolina
Chase Thomas 6'3 (245)OLB Stanford
Rod Sweeting 5'11 (190) CB Ga Tech
Ryan Lacy 5'9 (185) CB Utah

Emory Blake looks like the typical Saints UDFA that could make the practice squad and develop down the road. Also the Saints love NFL backgrounds which he comes from.

Foltz- another guy I think could make the practice squad, based on his skill set I think he could be a really great pass blocking OG.

Glenn Foster- my darkhorse to make the practice squad

Ray Shipman- one of those basketball guys, you never know?

Reddick- lock
Thomas- lock

Lacy- could be a good find for Nickel packages

Agree with your comments.

Something tells me Griffin will be on the PS when it's all said and done.

I would love for Griffin to atleast make the practice squad, but is he better than Seneca Wallace or Luke McCown, I dont think so.....

but let Griffin stay on the practice squad and cut one of the veterans maybe?

Agree. Hope Griffin can be the sleeper some projected him as. Learn from Brees and maybe one day lead the black and gold!

Putting Griffin on the PS has nothing to do with Wallace or McCown. Unless he can beat them out for a spot on the 53, which isn't going happen, the PS is where he goes...if he makes it at all.

That's pretty much a given. We aren't going to keep both vets. We usually go into camp with 2 vets and 1 project with one vet getting cut and the project going on the practice squad.

Is there not a limit to the number of practice players a team can have. I believe it is 7, but not sure.
So having two QB's on the practice squad makes no real sense.

This. And that's how it should be.

hijack question/

Since Griffin will get to play on the same field he did in college I was wondering...

Is there any other NFL team that shares use of it's field with a college team?
