wasn't Ware highly regarded coming out of HS?

I remember reading how great of a pickup Ware was when we recruited him out of high school. LOL

During his HS All-star game practice, Ware could do a standing backflip and land perfect. He was an amazing athlete before he gained all that weight.

Of course they were'nt in the ESPN 150. Keep an eye out on that thru the year. If a kid even has LSU as a slight lean in his college choices, ESPN will drop his ranking. That is why after NSD every year, of all the recruiting services, our recruiting class is always, always ranked lowest by ESPN. Now bash me for this comment, but have enough sense to go back and check and even watch this upcoming year.

Add all these people hating on Les. Damn strong recruiting and coaching there my friend.

I would venture to say that this is more reflective of damn terrible recruiting service by ESPN.

They thought Saban was still recruiting here. Nobody will play for LSU unless Saban recruits them, you know?

LOL. Mingo was a four star and ranked 155 overall by Rivals. All this article demonstrates is that ESPN's recruiting rankings are t'rr'bl'. Rivals is the best over the last decade.

Of the nine Tigers picked, five were not ESPN 150 picks coming out of high school.

They just dont spend resources evaluating LA like other sites. They spend so much money elsewhere, recruiting is prob way low on their totum poll. While other sites are making money based on recruiting a lone. ESPN doesnt need a recruiting service to make money.

This

But they do spend a lot of money recruiting, and it isn't very good information. People cling to it because of the name only
