If LSU's coaching staff decides to only take two backs this year, which back would be the second guy behind fournette? Why?

Kameron McKnight

Darrel Williams

Sione Palelei

I would go with Palelei. He seems like he would be a great complement to LF. He is unlike anyone we have had at LSU in a while. He reminds me of MGD and RRice. Great athlete that is proven great in the weight room. Also a good looking back for flat and screen passes. What does the rant think?

Palelei. Just so strong and fast. Smaller kid that can hide behind that line...

Darrel Williams because he is better than the other two ...

I have a feeling he will be getting a big bump by recruiting services before the season begins, and then keeps going. I say he'll be in the top 25 backs by NSD.

1. Williams
2. McKnight
3. Palelei- I just don't see him getting in this class.

All of these kids need to camp so Coach Cameron can see them.

Kevin Shorter 6' 186 All Purpose Back Newton, TX is another option. It's been said that he will also be " a great complement to LF".

Exactly, we should easily be considering recruits that DO currently have offers like Kevin Shorter and Racean 'Roc' Thomas

May be too late for Palelei. He wanted to commit to Arkansas this past weekend, but his Mom was at the LSU Spring Game. They're going back in July.

Since when is April too late to successfully recruit a highly rated high school RB?

If his mom was at LSU's Spring game, only next Feb would be too late.

I would rather Roc over any of them, but i dont see it happening. I like shorter but not love him. He's extremely fast and can move in space. I was focusing more on instate guys. Of all the backs there's a chance at I would pick Roc, Devon Thomas and then Palalei. Palalei is strong. When he shines at more camps we will start to pursue more i believe. I think he's in before this is over. Like Duke Riley.

His Mom was there to support Hoko Fanaika, who is close to the family.

Since last Saturday when Arkansas made sure he knew he wasn't on their back burner.
