Is CPM Correcting for the Team Peaking Too Early

Today I had a buddy of mine tell me this theory. Basically it states that CPM realized the team was peaking too early so he decided to let the team rest a little and told them try to win, but don't kill yourself for no reason. This is pretty much in line with CPM's status quo of dropping weekday games as well. Kind of like how Mike Scoscia does every year when the Angels coast into the playoffs. It makes sense and is very plausible.

no, because just like 09 this team is so good they aren't going to peak. better than average and good teams peak and they have to peak at the right time for a title. Teams stacked like us don't really peak since they are great teams.
