It's right next to the Hit N Run Liquor Store. Really.

It's a bit more subtle and nuanced than Boogie Bird.

Think this might be a nickname for a local ghetto superstar.

Yelp review:
quote:

This place is VERY similar to Wing Shack, so it's hard to avoid the comparisons. You buy wings in bulk and get to pick from an assortment of flavors.

Unlike WS, they have off street parking and even some tables (!) so you can sit down while you chomp down. They are missing rotary bullet-proof glass and a sign that says "WE WILL NOT WAIT FOR YOU TO GET $$$ FROM YOUR CAR".

If you are doubting their legitimacy, never fear: they also have the infamous naming issues, as the sign says "Wing Snack" but the menu says "Chicken Shack".

I tried three flavors:
taco - my favorite of the three, good seasoning and texture
GYMR (sp?) - good, but not as spicy as the warning label suggested (see WS's "Arizona" if you want a wing that punches you in the mouth) crunchy
BBQ - meh, it reminded me of chinese sweet and sour chicken

The Michelle punch (aka grape) was pretty tasty, better than the Obama punch (aka...red?).

The cajun ranch fries were also tasty, with a nice balance of slimy and crunchy.

Overall, the place is very good, though I have to be honest: in a head-to-head challenge, I would pick Wing Shack over C&W. Which isn't to say this place is bad, it just goes to show how awesome WS is!

The exact balance i'm always searching for in a good french fried potato. Glad to see, someone else gets it.
