He certainly has the talent. You could have 3 SEC's QB go early in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Zach Mettenberger (LSU): Mettenberger's dedication and commitment this off-season will be critical to his future. He should benefit greatly from the expertise of new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Cam Cameron. Arm strength is not an issue, but footwork and mechanics in the pocket will be heavily evaluated this season. As a junior, Mettenberger completed just 58% of passing attempts. The reality that it's his senior season and the addition of Cam Cameron should impact Mettenberger's leadership, approach, and fundamentals. (Team: Houston Texans)

I just want him to practice counting to three in his head over... and over... and over again.

Not that I disagree with the point about Mett, but this article as a whole is a joke.

Bridgewater will be a top 10 pick at worst, and they have him as a 3rd round pick.

Good grief. What did you see last year that makes you think Mett is a potential 1st round NFL draft pick? I saw a few flashes of brilliance, but overall, I saw inaccuracy, immobility, lack of pocket presence, and little leadership. Look, I hope Cam can work wonders with Mett, but I think we're all a bit too optimistic here. Let's take off the P&G glasses and try to remain objective.

Mett and first round NFL draft pick sounds foreign to me. The kid has a lot of work to do. If he wants to move in the first round.

If all the pieces fall into place and he makes excellent reads, improves his foot work, isn't so pocket immobile, then he should really really improve his draft stock.

Completing a long ball or two might help

First if the receivers just caught the catchable balls mets completion rate would have been near 70%!

He played behind a very poor makeshift oline.

The pass offense and routes were antiquated and easy to defend.

IMHO it's amazing he did as well as he did.

I like the guy but he missed some open R at important points of games and has to move better in the pocket.

Bottomline, metts has to more consistently hit the deep ball to prevent defenses from cheating against the run.

frick the deep ball.

Hit the short routes and make the LB pay for sneaking up to the LOS.
