Watching the LSU softball game has me mind boggled. I'll venture to say that I could easily guarantee making solid contact with the ball every at bat (assuming I'm given a halfway decent pitch to hit) the ball is huge. It's bright yellow. And even the fastball is slow. I don't understand how one could possibly not make contact every at bat

Serious as a heart attack. I'm talking about women's collegiate softball to be specific. I think I could easily step in the box against a solid d1 female pitcher and rock one

Actually, it is harder to hit a softball pitch. But you're clearly a tough guy so I'm sure you would dominate that sissy female sport.

I highly doubt that.

I'm guessing you've never stood in the box with a D1 pitcher throwing at you?

They are pretty damn close to the plate. Very little reaction time.

they really need to back up the mound and the bases 5 ft to make softball WAY more interesting.

let's see...the average fastball in college is probably in the high 60s, which is an equivalent to 93 or so in MLB.

and they have far more movement than any mlb pitcher could dream of getting.

so no, i don't think you stand a chance

Dude you are way off. Those women can throw with major movement on the ball oh and they are reallly close to the plate.

Edit: Noticed everyone already said it.

Even if you did make contact, you'd pop it up trying to hit it like a baseball

he would get embarrassed by Rachel Fico.

Brittany Sneed struck Wally Pontiff out back in the day, yet this guy thinks he can just step in swing away.
