No one is saying that it is impossible for even a good athlete to strike out in softball. Anything can happen. However to act as if hitting a softball is difficult to do for a grown man in relatively decent shape is quite comical. It's very easy to do.

Shuke was literally the last person that you would want being the OP for the Boston Marathon bombing thread

Exactly. I'm not saying I'm gonna jack one out of the park every swing, but I assure you none of those broads are gonna sit me down looking at strike 3. I mean hitting a baseball is a difficult task but women's sports are basically a joke at every level. Softball doesn't compare at all to baseball. Women's pro basketball is on the same level as good Men's high school teams. Women's track and field is like jogging compared to what the men are doing. And so on and so on. You put an athletic guy like myself in a women's sport and I'm gonna perform pretty damn well. That is all

You might perform well after a few weeks of practice.
Just going up there cold, you'd be embarrassed.

Well naturally I'm gonna take a few hacks in the cage to get myself loosened up

Holy shite, you are one dumb SOB. Like epically ignorant.
I saw a sports science show with Jenny Finch a few years ago. They had an MLB player (forgot who) try to just make contact. He wasn't even close. It was a total joke. Strike, strike, strike....
And we are talking an MLB hitter.
And YOU, some jackwagon pussy thinks you could even make contact???
You would get so fricking embarrassed.

This might be one of the best troll attempts ever. I'd say unless you are a college baseball player, if you had 100 at bats against a D1 pitcher, you'd strike out 99 times.
Jenny Finch hosts a segment on the TV program This Week in Baseball. Her segment usually shows her pitching to major-league baseball players, using a softball and pitching from the same distance as she normally would in a softball game. Finch shows her dominance even over MLB players, as she usually strikes them out by using her 71 mph riseball that is equivalent to a fastball of nearly 100 mph in baseball and the pitcher’s rubber is 17.5 feet farther away than in softball!
Tiger, you beat me to it!

Jennie Finch did a deal a couple of years ago where she threw to a bunch of MLB players. Pretty sure most struck out, including Albert Pujols.
Edit: several beat me to it.

I'm the dumbass? You're the one who actually believes what that clown Brenkus says. That dude is just looking for ratings you fool. a MLB hitter could jack Jennie Finch out of the park from the opposite side of the plate with a broomstick.

Yep. The relative speed to reaction time with the softball is greater, the angle of the pitch is more difficult, the movement is more difficult, the force generated is greater, etc.
It is easier to hit a 95mph fastball than a 70mph softball from a baseball vs softball mound.
Here is the SS episode where a 95mph baseball pitcher goes against a Dbacks hitter and the hitter hits the ball just fine. Then he cannot even make contact once against a softball pitch.
Here is the link to watch it.

Exactly. It takes even major leaguers awhile to get adjusted to the type of movement that these girls can get on their pitches.
I'm sure a decent college player could eventually get to the point where they can make decent contact on most pitches. But some TD poster is not going to go out there and make contact on every pitch.
