Maybe if Payton sees someone in the 3rd he wants otherwise I dont think the Jets get him just for the sake of a 3rd or later round pick

The 6-0, 222-pound Ivory would complement Mike Goodson and Bilal Powell in the Jets’ backfield.

Compliment? Like what?

"Hey those pants sure are clean. Since y'all been on the bench all game!"

I think Sean would pack his bags for him if they offered a 3rd.

I've been beating this drum repeatedly. No one is offering a high pick for an undrafted, frequently injured, fumble prone RB with spotty production.

If it's a third you pay for his flight to NY. A 4th would be solid compensation for him. Hope it's not a 5th

Seriously? He MIGHT take a 3rd rounder for a back up rb who is injury prone? Really?

I actually like Ivory, but he would be gone for a 3rd rounder.

Predict swapping a round to move up equivalent to 4th Rd value.

These are the Jets we're talking about here.

How is he injury prone? I dont remember him missing much time last year.

Anyone can see what he can do. Dude is a wrecking ball. He was never given the chance to really carry the load here. Hopefully he can succeed in NY. Except for when we go there and play them.

Ivory, right now, is a better NFL running back than Eddie Lacy and Marcus Lattimore, two similar incoming rookies in my mind. I think at least 4th rounder is fair when concerning his injury history.

It's just the unfortunate nature of the business. The way it stands with our cap situation Ingram is not tradeable which leave either Pierre, Sproles, or Ivory. Despite his production in limited playing time, Ivory makes the most sense if it means saving 2 mill and picking up a much needed draft pick.
