Late 90s. I know their fans acted the arse towards our team the last time we went to Ruston. Skip might have decided to stop playing them then but don't know why it hasn't started back up again. We don't play ULM much either. Maybe they want us to come up there more than we are willing.

I've wondered this too. Playing in the WAC, soon to be CUSA, why not play La Tech midweek or in February for a 3 game series.

I had just found this out about a year ago. Don't get it at all. La Tech was actually cheered in BR when I was raised there because of all the animosity towards Tulane and USL.

They made the tournament last year but turned it down because they were not a national seed.

Coach Sim at Tech said he doesn't have desire to play LSU but he won't be back next year so maybe it will change

Not true at all, there is 5 times as much LSU merchandise in Ruston compared to LT..
