went there Sat night....about 8pm...looks like a decent place...but no one was there...

It was only me, a buddy of mine and the bartender...do they ever get a crowd up in there...?

My wife and I went over about a year back for happy hour. Nice place, but it was just us, the owner and a bartender. They seemed to say that they drew more of a crowd on the weekend.
If we didn't live so bloody far away, we would probably go there regularly. It's a nice bar with good prices. I don't like hearing that they were empty on a Saturday night.

I thought the prices were decent as well....some band was setting up....when we left there were no other customers in the bar...

Can't believe that place is still open. I've been 3 times and was the only person all three times. (By only person I mean my group of people)

I went a couple weeks after they first opened on a Saturday night and there was nobody in there. We ended up talked to the owner/bartender the whole time. Went again a month of so later and there were maybe 4 or 5 additional people there, but I ended up figuring out that they all had some connection to people working there.

Haven't been back since, although I'm actually friend with the bar on Facebook. It does seem like they have a good bit of live music every week, including open mic night. It sounds like mostly recurring acts and I have no idea what type of crowds.

It's a pretty nice place on the inside and drinks were very reasonably priced.

Sounds like a good place for a private party without having to book a room.

Never even heard of it, but its pretty far out there, can't imagine making the drive

People need to know its there if they are going to go. Some restaurant/bar owners think the word is out just because all their friends know about it

Yes, Little Village.

I've been wanting to try this place, but it always looks empty.

@OP, how were the drinks?

Wife and I went about a year ago. It was empty but for us and the 2 workers. You pay for a card, take the card to the wine dispenser, and fill up after swiping the card. I still have about $2 on the card I got a year ago.

I don't know if it will make it. No big subdivisions or apartments nearby. East Baton Rouge Sherriff station next door though.

I know a few amateur musicians who play there from time to time, but I've never been.

Interesting. Hard to imagine that based on my two visits.
