Any of you guys have a Ruger LCP .380? I'm pretty sure this will be my next gun purchase and will use it for CC. Just looking for feed back on the gun.

Was looking at that one, but many on the forum talked me into the Kahr CW380

If you're considering a Ruger, why not the LC9?

theres better out there, but if your budget is $300 its better than a sharp stick

If he's looking to pocket carry, the LC9 isn't ideal. The subcompact 380s are considerably smaller than the tiny 9mms.

I also agree with Tots. The Kahr 380s are the best ones out there. If you don't mind ponying up for the P380 it's more available than the CW380 right now. They are virtually the same gun with some minor differences. The CW380 costs less to manufacture and only comes with one magazine but costs about $200 less than the P380.

While the Sig P238 and the Colt Mustang (what the Sig is based on) are good pocket 380s, I think the Kahr 380s are the best 380 options out there for the price - period.

I have a Ruger SR9. I don't want another 9mm plus I want the slim size of a .38. I'll look into the Kahr.

I'm with oleyeller on this one, I do like mine, it's very easy to conceal and it costs around 300, so price wasn't that bad. It's not as nice as some others that are more expensive, but at the end of the day it will put bullets down range every time you pull the trigger.

By the way, price was not a factor on the LCP. Great carry gun. And American made.

I have the LCP and recommend it. I use it when my XDs is going to be an issue to carry and sometimes as a backup to my primary.

Nice small package that shoots well. Not a range gun by any stretch of the imagination but a good CCW.

I have heard that they are revamping it for an LCP2.0 with safety, loaded chamber indicator and the last shot slide lock -- features they added to the LC9. But I can't confirm that in my looking right now.

Although this gun looks good, I would be weary. It was Beretta's first ever striker-fired pistol and has had some issues with trigger reset and such. Enough time may have gone by now where they have gotten all the bugs out, but no guarantee.

I've owned both, the LCP and kahr p380, IMO the trigger on the kahr makes it worth the extra $150-$200 bones. Smoothest DAO trigger I've shot yet.

Or if you're lucky enough to find a CW380, jump on it bc I'd imagine it has the same trigger as the p380.

Also consider the S&W Bodyguard 380. I just picked one up for the wife...shot it Sunday. Nice pistol.
