Mike Florio just did an updated mock draft....does the drug testing policy need to be updated, or is Simon making a big move?....I hadn't heard of him mentioned before. LINK

Going into last season I expected Simon to play his way into a high 1st rd spot. My overestimation of Simon really led to my overestimation of LSU's title hopes. Based on last year's performance I'd say he's hoping for the 2nd but I'm not the expert.

I didn't even think he was our best CB last year. Pre-year I expected easily 1st round. Post-year I'm thinking 3rd or 4th at best.

I think his size and LSU's reputation for DB's will get him in the 3rd. Not expecting anything higher.

Simon will be drafted as a project. He has the potential to be great, but not the mindset. CBs with his height don't come around too often.

He's been dropping people in their tracks for three years. Not the huge hitter but gives up virtually nothing on YAC. Do you watch football?

Simon has missed plenty of tackles in the past 2 years. Mills was a much better tackler last year.

in 11' Simon had the luxury of playing with Mo, Brooks, Reid and TM7. last year he and Reid both suffered because of the loss of experienced help and our inconsistant pass rush. there was little to no room for error as indicated by how the season played out.
