Would a neighbor and I have a similar IP address? Same carrier.
No clue how that works, just know he tried to sign up and said he is in purgatory.

I did steal my old neighbors signal because I didn't have wifi, but they were cool with it.

I share access with a poster who has been here longer than me. I think it's common. There is no rule against multiple accounts in one house.
Or on a network.
Look at some of the husband wife duos.

I know, I thought that they might implement a MAC address identifier so that they may see which device is communicating.
anyone can just go to a hot spot and have a new IP......not sure how smartphone-data changes IP always same or different?
anyway....new cable service, fresh IP, fresh email...just decided to keep an open and honest relationship going

Would have a static IP address if using cellular data... If using wifi the IP would change
