Shot 101 on Saturday. Still can't break 100 at River Ridge. Started very strong (for me) and went bogey, bogey, par, bogey, and then fell the frick apart. Good thing is that I didn't lose any balls, but I had to throw 2 away because I cut them on two really nice pitch shots (unfortunately they were both preceded with fricking terrible shots). Finished 49/52. I am pretty happy with my play since I had some really nice shots and couple of really good lag putts that I would normally have 4-putted haha. Both my playing partners nearly broke 80.
Hoping to play this coming weekend and want to get to the range a lot more this week. I feel that I am right on the verge of improving a lot if I can get a little more consistency on my long irons and chips. Also, I need to learn how to recover mentally from that first bad hole of a round. It really fricks with my confidence and it seems to take several holes to get my shite straight.

Two birdies yesterday at the Island.
I arrived a little early and grabbed my driver and headed over to the range. I hit 2 bombs right out of the gate but I was drawing them too hard so I moved the ball back a tad in my stance and obliterated the next. I bagged the driver and walked over the the putting green until the tee time.
Weaker iron play (a result of hitting zero on the range) hurt me a little, but I wasn't about to frick up my driver zone.

I've been to tons of demo days and expirimented with lots of different clubs/shafts, but never had a full private fitting. Gonna be sick!
