Was +2 through 7. Finished 3rd. Thought I had it the entire time and lost by 3. Then signed card for two higher and had to split third with some other guy. Pretty shitty day to be honest.

It was pretty windy out there and the greens were not in the best shape but it was a fun day out there.

9:39am tee time for Pinehurst No. 8. My goal of <300 total strokes well within reach! I came in 10 strokes under my expected score on No. 2 on Friday

We got to 18 yesterday evening and it had 8 carry over holes riding on it. I snaked a 20 footer in for birdie and broke their hearts. Hit the ball great for the first time with these new irons.

These here.

I was starting to think they sucked. But upon further review it was just me who sucked. I striped them yesterday though. 4 over on the day.

My neighbor has them. I've hit his, even though he had them cut to his height (he's a few inches shorter than me).

The ball felt good coming off the face from what I remember.

Ya have them standard off the rack?

I got the x hot pros a few weeks ago. They're pretty nice. My only complaint so far has been that I can't stop them quite as quickly as I'm used to on approaches to greens. Otherwise, they've been fantastic. I love the project x 95 shafts that came in them.

Got the shafts extended to fit my tall arse and strapped some tour velvets on them.

If you're tall enough to get your shafts extended it's doubtful stock lofts and lies are optimal. Don at Calvert will fit you for $50 I believe. He's helped me out a ton.

You're probably right. I just go to Buddy Fisher and get "fitted". Which is just him adding length to the shaft and selling me grips.

Buddy's done some work for me before. I went to him before Don. I was fitted by both for my putter. Don did an exponentially better job. Whenever you're ready just call Calvert or Pine Hills and he'll either answer or they'll get you in touch.
