So I'm about to make my trip from Houston to Mississippi on I-10 like I always do, but this time I was trying to stop by a brewery and get a tour/try some ales. I've already visited Abita so that's out but are their any other breweries I need to try off the beaten path? Also if you know, could I pick up a pint glass/growler and some singles/six packs? More concerned about the bottles because I would like to add to my collection.

I'm pretty sure Lazy Magnolia is pretty close to I-10 once you enter Mississippi

Yeah I've visited LM in Kiln, to be honest it was alright just not a big fan of their brews outside of Southern Pecan. I have heard of NOLA but not Parish, both are very tempting.

NOLA won't really be on your way to Mississippi unless you detour through New Orleans. Parish would be a good option though. I've heard good things about their tours.

Parish is great, it's a 20 minute or so detour from I-10 but worth it. Their tours are on Friday afternoons.

That's the ale that comes in 4 packs right? They have released that since I moved from Mississippi. I hear it is good I just haven't seen it in Texas, I'm a big Hop Head so I need to try it.

Have you tried the new MS white whiskey? It's in the local liquor stores, I need to pick up a bottle.

That's it. It's really good, and the best beer the put out IMO

Tin Roof is right off the 1-10 Nicholson exit when you cross the bridge

If he's taking I-10 to Mississippi from Texas? It's right there. Head towards the Westbank, exit Tchoup. It's literally a 10 minute detour both ways

I might not visit it but I will pick up a six pack or two. We go out to the islands when I am in Mississippi and can beer is the way to go on the beach and boat. Did they sell it all over LA, or just in BR?

Yeah I usually take I-12 to bypass NOLA but I could just see some friends while I'm there. I have a friend that is craft faithful I could go with and I always have a good time there.

So far it's between Parish and NOLA for me, might go by SPECS or Whole Foods and see if I can find a brew to help my decision.

They only can 3 beers, an amber which is bad, a decent pale ale, and a pretty good blonde.
