Depending on how good the drainage is, I think they can get this in because the rain is going to stop around 11.

ok I'll post this again since you started a new thread...

I know it is a triple A stadium and drains pretty well, etc. But it has been pissing hard for a while and not supposed to let up until around 3. Being that they already have a contingency plan in place, I wouldn't be surprised if they call this thing early this afternoon.

My guess decision will be made around noon - to not affect S miss travel and to not inconvenience any fans that may be thinking about making trip
The game will be Tues if it gets rained out per Rosetta

2 teams traveling. Steady, heavy rain. Contingency in place. I doubt they'll want to jeopardize the event. I don't think they will want to start the game, have it canceled if it rains again later, then play a new game against a different team next week. All signs point toward a rain out tonight IMO. And believe me, I want to be there tonight.

The hourly forecast does show the precip at 20-30% by game time.

i think most are watching the radar and the fact that the mass looks as though it will be past us for the most part in the early afternoon

They will make a decision at noon

LSU won't call off anything. It will be the Zephyrs that make the final call.

They just had a lightning strike and thunder roll that might single-handedly cancel the game if the Zephyr grounds crew was outside... YIKES

The back edge of the rain is almost through New Orleans! Rain will stop and drier conditions can be expected this afternoon.
