Nnamdi Asomugha chooses #49ers and has agreed to terms, per sources. He had also considered #Saints. #NnamdiWatch

Think I'll go with this thread over the poorly named "Noooo".

One year, up to $3m. Hopefully this opens up some cash for a guy like Charles Woodson or McKinnie, who I think would have a bigger impact. I don't think Greer/Lewis/Robinson is that bad a trio.

I'll support this thread because it was created by 3HT who is a ST regular.

That being said. Damn It!

I'm ok with this, but I wish we could have gotten Porter for a year.

I think Desmond Trufant and Xavier Rhodes just became realistic options for us with Nnamdi and Tracy Porter off the board.

He's not that good anyway. Plus this is the year P Rob turns a corner and won't play like he's blind.

This.

And don't forget that White and Mack played well in their rolls last year too.

Like I said, I would have liked to have had him, but I'm ok with us not getting him. Hopefully now we put a full court press on Bryant McKinney.

So technically we could still sign him after we beat the 49ers in January?

Nnamdi watch lives!

Doesn't look that way.

@AdamSchefter: CB Nnamdi Asomugha is signing a 1-yr deal with 49ers worth $1.35 million in base salary, but get this: He didn't want ANY guaranteed money.
