How many games would an elite high school all star team win in the MLB?

Obviously not very many, but the nature of baseball, crazy things happen and you never know. Also if it's the best of the best high schoolers, most of them are about to go play pro ball (although minor leagues).
Anyone think they get to 10 wins? 20? more? less?

Zero games. Zero.

A JUCO or Division II team wouldn't even win a game. A major D1 collegiate baseball team could maybe win 5-10 on a great year but I have major doubts about that.

Even if they played the 2003 Detroit Tigers? Yeah, I'd take the MLB team all day...

They wouldn't win 0.... The best of the best high schoolers throw in the 90's and can hit a 90 mph fastball. All you would need is a team to have an off day at the plate and have some guys get a hold of a few pitches and they would win games 2-1 3-2 ect...

There are 17 yr old kids from Cuba playing professional ball...

Zero. Baseball might be the most random sport there is but it's also the sport with the biggest leap between their high school and professional leagues. It's pretty rare for a 21 or 22 year old to be a top player in MLB but you see players from that age group play at a star caliber level all the time in basketball, football, hockey, soccer, tennis, etc.... The only sport that might have a steeper learning curve than baseball is golf. It's just really hard for youngsters to do well in baseball.

Baseball is a lot deeper and a lot more mental than you give it credit for being. They would go 0-162 and there really isn't much of a question about it.

Just in the past few years, Bryce Harper, Strassburgh, Mike Trout, Mike Stanton, Jayson Heyward

I'm not saying the high school kids would do well but they'd win a few games...

I wouldn't go that far. A JUCO team beat the Orioles in spring training last year. That same Orioles team ended up winning 93 games and making the playoffs last year. A really good college team like LSU might be able to win 20-25 games in MLB. High school to pro is too big of a leap though.

Think about it, college teams beat pro teams every now in then in exhibition (last I remember is BC beat the Red Sox a few years ago).
I'd be willing to bet a team of the best of the best high school seniors is better than a lot of D1 colleges since most of them are going straight to pro ball
