I am so disappointed in how few pics I took! I was busy tasting and talking. No pics of the apps (I know, I suck), but the table got these:
Bon Temps Sausage & Boudin Board
An array of Louisiana’s best sausage and boudin, grilled and served with sliced French bread, chard red onion aioli and creole mustard
Crawfish Stuffed Mushrooms
Pan seared mushrooms stuffed with Louisiana crawfish served with tasso pepper gravy
Swamp Legs
Crispy duck drumettes tossed in our house made mango sauce served with twice cooked gator legs smothered in sweet and spicy Thai sauce, with fresh jicama slaw
Of those three things, I had some grilled boudin and crawfish stuffed mushrooms. Good thing they took the mushroom plate away, because I was considering licking it.
Between the apps and the entree, we each had a choice of soup or salad. I had a beautiful salad, and a few others had what looked liked really good cups of gumbo. Again, no pics.
How awesome does this crawfish pie look? Several people at the table had it and thoroughly enjoyed it. None of them could finish it all, though.
My entree: Grilled Chili Butter Shrimp
Mesquite grilled shrimp skewers, glazed with our sweet chili honey butter served on a bed of our sage sweet potato mash
Wish I'd never tasted the sweet potatoes. Loved them. Shrimp, also excellent.
Bananas Foster Bread Pudding:
I didn't have any, but the table loved it.
I will go again and try some of the other stuff on the menu. Service was excellent. Really liked the place.

Good review, Darla.
A friend and myself went a couple months back. We had the Sausage and Boudin board also, which I thought was phenomenal.
I had the shrimp and tasso pasta, which was fantastic too. I recommend it next time you're there.

Thanks, Ham.
A couple of people got jerk chicken and one person at the far end got the shrimp and tasso pasta. I wish I'd taken pics of every dish!
There were fifteen in the group and they treated us very attentively.

Went for lunch last week. Everything was great. I had a cup of gumbo ad fish tacos. Ask about the crab cakes, they aren't on the menu but are awesome.

Anybody know if this is the same one opening in Baton Rouge soon on Perkins between essen and bluebonnet.

Huh. I used to work right by there and always thought it was some typical boiled crawfish and fried seafood joint.

Good review, Darla. And this place deserves props. I've eaten there 4-5 times and was thoroughly satisfied. I've had the burger, the meatloaf, the fish, the cobb salad......all good.

Great review.
I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. However, one time, my girlfriend got the fish tacos with the mango salsa. The salsa made the tortillas extremely wet and soggy and downright unappealing. Ask for the salsa on the side if you get that dish which tasted amazing.

It was just a boiled crawfish place but they moved across the street and these people reopened it.

I sat at the bar, spit and app, had an entree and 3-4 beers, and walked out of there with $30 less including tip.
