You said he's easily the most underrated players in the league, and this thread somehow proves it. Man you're dumb.

If you're going to be making statements on a forum at least make sure you have the cognitive ability to keep your thoughts straight.

But hey, I'm as happy as you are about this contract right now. Matt Ryan next! MOAR MONEY!

Romo is a Top 11 QB. He has elevated 5-11 teams to 8-8 and back to back NFC East championship games without an O-line. Hopefully they will address that position and others with some wiggle room under the cap now.

Has he choked? Sure. But haven't they all?

Says the guy who doesn't make clear thoughts, and just resorts to the boring message board tactic of calling people names. That's so lame dude.

Feel free to name me all of the top 10 players at their position in the NFL that this board routinely says is mediocre, garbage, and all of the other stuff you're guaranteed to see in overwhelming quantities in any tony Romo thread, but I doubt you'll find any. All you gotta do is name a few and I'll be wrong, can't be that hard right?

I suspect that the rest of the NFC East picked up a lot of that cost

some people rather throw out insults instead of trying to be logical when others disagree with them.

I'm doing alright, buddy. Lol.

But THIS makes ZERO sense.. BTW Romo is NOT a top ten qb...........

Mannings[2]
Brady
Brees
Rogers
Flacco
Rothlisberger
Ryan
Russell Wilson
Rivers

That's just ten...........

Who care what the board thinks? How is he underrated? A lot of players seem to think he's overrated.

I agree that he gets a bad rap, but the dude has a penchant for shitting the bed when it matters most. If you look at Matt Schaub's stats, or Chris Simms' stats back in the day at UT, you'd think they were elite QBs, but sometimes you actually have to break away from football reference and watch them play in big games to get a sense of their true worth.

if joe flacco is worth his contract, and that's the market, then romo is worth this deal, as romo is better than flacco

i think he has a pretty good QB rating in 4th quarters or when the cowboys or behind...forget the stat

No QB better than Romo in the 4th Quarter

quote:

Fact: Romo has the highest fourth-quarter passer rating among active quarterbacks. And it’s not even close. His 102.1 rating is more than five points higher than the second man on the list, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers.

Romo has had some high-profile fourth-quarter failures – last season’s opener at MetLife Stadium stands out – but you can’t look at the numbers and call that a trend. He has completed 63.4 percent of his passes for 5,819 yards (8.7 per attempt) and 44 touchdowns with 18 interceptions in fourth quarters during his career.
