What's so frustrating?

Really.

You want a better atmosphere? Validation? Worried ownership will frown? Image of the city? Believe good attendance improves chances of the Hornets winning?

They aren't excuses, they are reasons. Losing teams usually only have full arenas when the biggest stars are in town. That's just the way it is. You don't market other teams stars because the league makes you, you do it because it puts butts in seats.

Good for you

But the Hornets are a bad team in a non basketball city. If you have had season tickets since 2007, you've seen how it works. The fans come when the Hornets are good an fun to watch

Nothing better than a packed, loud arena.

No worse than other basketball fans in similar circumstances. This makes them normal basketball fans.

Its still not gonna happen overnight. Its gonna take time and the team to start winning again to start filling the seats

One time I went to a game and I was the only fan in the Arena besides the BeeZanies.

I agree its absolutely pathetic.
however don't try and be logical on this board about attendance. just turn the other cheek to it.

I'm sure the reason why attendance was bad tonight was because it was raining in Wyoming or because there was a girls high school volleyball tournament going on.

even when the Hornets had Chris Paul (one of the most famous and best players in the NBA) and playoff contending teams on the court the attendance was bad for the most part. the only exception is the 2008/09 season when they averaged around 16k per game. the Gulf South in general is just a God awful basketball market plain and simple. we could have LeBron James on the team and still wouldn't average a sellout every game.

Does denver have any of these guys on their team:

The King
Kobe/Howard
Melo
Durant/Westbrook
Wade/Bosh
CP3/Bitch Blake
Among others

There's your answer,plus i don't see why it's such a big fricking deal.

Closer to 17k, but don't worry about facts.

Keep on with the bad research and perulance.

Once HT was behind it, it was deemed a bad idea...

Kidding.

Finding the right starting point in time is tough. And it is not cheap for people with no budget. Plus, work has irritated me and we have the rebrand to deal with.

An hour seems the right length. Once a week. Weekend air with podcast availabilty.

I'm advocating making little youtube post-game conference call things to try out these last few games.

There's a couple of other things I want to make happen this offseason, too.

Thoughts? Ideas?

During the week of Easter Break too. I am shocked the NBA kept them here to tell you the truth.

Other than the pulled pork, the food in the suites is tolerable at best.
